Health And Beauty - The topic of aesthetics has been discussed since the beginning of time. What makes somebody beautiful? Some say its well defined cheekbones; others suggest that bold eyes make the difference. Science has gone so far as to suggest that beauty is based on symmetry. Whatever the case may be, beauty is universal. It's independent of fashion or trends. It is timeless. It can never become outdated or out of style. Beauty is recognized as being in harmony with nature, in sync with our souls. Beauty evokes feelings of peace and well being. We acknowledge inner beauty- personality, grace, intelligence, charm- and outer beauty- health, complexion, sexiness. We use beauty as a standard, a measuring stick against which we compare each other. As such it can often be a source of discrimination. Somebody who doesn't live up to the standards of beauty may be subjected to unwelcome attitudes from others.
