A cruise ship is a large ship or ocean liner which can accommodate from just a few people to thousands of passengers over a long period of time. There are many different types of cruises available around the world today. Some Examples are European Cruises, Caribbean, Alaskan, South American cruises, French, Nile River and many more. There are also many different names which are popular these days, Royal Caribbean, Carnival, Holland America, Princess Cruises and many more. Cruising on a big ship around the world is a great bargain for the price, typically around $500 to $700 per week which includes meals, room and board, room services, onboard entertainment and lots of fun. Millions of people take cruises each year worldwide. Today's cruise ships are like floating hotels or entrainment centers. Formal and informal dining are available, port activities and the list goes on. The cruise business has grown into a huge industry with ships the size of foot ball fields and still getting bigger every day.
